Wake Me Up, Before You Go Go

"Ain't nothing to worry about. Won't matter that you're stuck here once I wake up. Hopefully that happens before the shadow monsters show up," the big man replies. He sets the bedrail aside then moves to force the door open.

[Morgan]

Tyrell notices the young man thrashing against his bonds and wanders over to help. It was no wonder they were struggling with those thin stick limbs.

He fumbled initially trying to unbuckle it normally forgetting about hos missing arm. "Fucking hell" He swore under his breath before taking a deep one and trying again with his one hand.

It took a moment but he got it releasing Morgan "don't suppose you know what's going on here?"

"I don't suppose that we all signed up for a group therapy session. That involved handcuffs." Morgan's eyes flit over the bag feeding into their wrist. "And a fucking IV? What kind of quack practice is this?"

[Tyrell Davis]

"This isn't one of your goddamn dreams man!" Tyrell snapped before reining his emotions in.

"If it was a dream I wouldn't be feeling all these damn aching joints. I don't know what this is but it's some kind of real."

He looked down to Morgan "Nah man last thing I remember I was in Atlanta just went to bed woke up here. That's all I got."

[Morgan]

"Atlanta?" Morgan could feel their voice rising. "You're a long way from home sir. Lakeshore's a Midwest piece of bumfuck nowhere"

[Alonso Hidalgo]

"Atlanta? Midwest? These are strange names. But this place is strange, and you are like no Stonedownors I have known. Are you Woodhelvenin?"

A hand reaches for the throat that had voiced the words. "And why is my voice..."

The rapid, grating speech trails off as sensations register.

A downward look reveals twin adipose swellings.

Pressing up against the wall, scrabbling as if to flee from...

"Why do I have breasts?" in almost a scream.

A hand moves to another place.

This time, it is a scream, incomprehension tearing from the throat.

[Morgan]

"I mean, they're not that great but" Morgan cocks their head to the side, "is that something to scream over?" The rest was complete babble.

"Oh shit, did they dump me in the wrong wing or something?" Morgan coughs a few times putting hand to their throat. "How long was I out, that is like gargling gravel?"

[Alonso Hidalgo]

"No no no no no no no! I'm not supposed to have breasts at all!"

Eyes widening, fleshy chest heaving with deepening breaths.

"What is this place? Who are you people? What foul thaumaturgy has been wielded here, and by whom?

"The Lore says nothing of this, unless it is the work of some bane left in the Creator's despite."

[Tyrell Davis]

"Lakeshore?" He said as if tasting it "I don't think I've ever heard of-" He was cut off by the hysterics of the small Asian woman.

"Hey miss you gotta calm down a bit. This is weird for all of us but panicking won't give us any answers."

[Reisija Ridder]

"Nah, this ain't my hospital, this ain't my body, and I don't recognize any of you. Ain't the first time I had a nightmare like this. Other people always talking about how it sucks is normal for my nightmares. You won't feel any aching after I wake up and you don't exist anymore."

He continues to try and force the door.

Eyes flicker over the septuagenarian, and though hyperventilation still threatens, a nod and a swallow.

"Then I am not the only one...changed?

"It must be some bane left behind, or some work of Demondim-spawn not yet comprehended."
