"Lakeshore's..." she finally spoke up... "Lakeshore's not what it used to be..."
It was possible her words weren't loud enough to be heard over the voices of the others. And it didn't really matter anyhow; her mind had already moved on to the next subject. It wasn't normal for things to just keep progressing like this when she'd ignore them, so...
...she might as well go with it for now. See where things'd take her. Engage a little with the delusions.
"He's right," she said more firmly then, "we shouldn't panic. And we don't even know if this is still Lakeshore. We could be anywhere."
She didn't think they were anywhere else, but it wouldn't be good to start making assumptions just yet.
"Let's think this through. Where was everyone before this? We already have Atlanta. I was at college. Everything was *fine*."

"I'm at Cliffside Behavioral health center outside Eureka California. Was getting a CT scan last thing I remember before falling asleep and this nightmare starting," Reisija replies.
Moving to the beds, he checks to see if they're on wheels. Maybe with enough inertia he can bust the doors open.

A rather considerable racket starts to drift in from the other side of the door, sounding much like the clomping of many biots coming down a long hallway.

"Lakeshore Stonedown."
The voice is still not right, fast and grating. Nasal.
"The Lorewardens had sent me to teach what the Loresraat knows.
"But what is an 'Atlanta?'"

"I must be more out of it than I thought. My imaginary friend don't even know what Atlanta is," Reisija says, mostly to himself. He moves back to the door and readies himself to ambush anyone that comes through. He looks like he's somewhere between excited to beat someone down and bored with this nightmare.

Re: Wake Me Up, Before You Go Go
She sighed, clearly this wasn't helping any, the others were either delusions and therefore just as crazy as she was, or she was perfectly sane; in which case they were *still* crazy, only *real*.
But then came the sound of something approaching. Boots, maybe? In its rythmic growth lay despair. There were no positive outcomes to the door opening and letting through whatever was on the other side.
Seeing no sense in talking to the others at this point, Sally-Anne instead found a corner and made herself as small as she possibly could.

"Shh, shh, shh!" Morgan waves off the others, pressing an ear to the door in an attempt to figure out what's happening on the other side.Overseer Bakuriel wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 9:00 pmA rather considerable racket starts to drift in from the other side of the door, sounding much like the clomping of many biots coming down a long hallway.
Moving made it obvious that something was different, like stepping into a car after someone has adjusted the seat and mirrors. But it also didn't feel wrong right away. And it some ways it felt... right?
But musing about that could wait. What was going on outside?
